We believe that ‘big’ doesn’t always mean better. We’re that little agency. And we’re big on helping employers tell their story and sharing it in bigger and better ways. We’re big on data. On insight. On learning. We’re big on turning that knowledge into creating award-winning employer branding, careers websites and recruitment marketing that brings people and bigger futures together. We’re big on building lasting relationships with partners and clients – big and small, local and global. We’re big on transparency, inspired by challenge and we’re built on trust.
Because, if you’re an employer – whether you like it or not – you already have an employer brand.
Meet the little people
Sitting at the heart of That Little Agency is the team that will work with you and help you shape your brand, attraction and engagement strategies. Only one of them is obsessed with chasing cats.
Mark BeavanHead of Agency
Mark has over 15 years experience working with clients on how technology and the web can help them attract, engage and retain the best talent. And he is still going strong. He's worked with some high-profile brands, delivered some award-winning projects, met some great people and had a lot of fun along the way. That Little Agency is his baby, and while it started ugly it is growing into a pretty little toddler.
Sophy GambleClient Partner
Sophy has a huge amount of experience in employer branding and marketing having held senior roles in a number of Bristol agencies. She has worked with a wide range of clients, from local government and NHS Trusts, to large pharmaceutical firms and car manufacturers. Helping them address their unique challenges with strategic thinking, creativity and a sense of fun.
Oli Nitch-SmithProject Manager Partner
There are few people in our little industry who have as broad a knowledge of digital recruitment than Oli. He has over 10 years’ experience project managing website development projects, pay-per-click advertising campaigns across search and social media and is an expert in pulling together data into meaningful campaign reports. He brings a real sense of rigour to our website development services.
Gareth WallDesign Partner
Gareth is our go-to person for creative direction. He has over 15 years' experience working as design lead for a number of renowned branding agencies. We don't know anyone better at creating and developing recruitment solutions through creative strategic thinking, messaging and a key understanding of how a visual language can transform a brand.
Richard EdwardsDevelopment Partner
Richard is the one who brings all of our ideas to life. Without him our ideas would just be wireframes, flat PDF designs and copy in a Word document. A true coder at heart, he is a man who relishes a challenge. And trust us, we throw them at him on a daily basis. He is talented and has an impressive portfolio of award-winning and highly-effective work, but more than that he is a genuinely great person to work with.
Ben WheelerMarketing Partner
We've known Ben since he was in short trousers. A marketing consultant with extensive experience working with human resourcing and recruitment clients, he has seen the positive effects of good employer branding. With qualifications in CIM and CIPD, he brings strategic marketing capabilities along with in-house HR and employee communications experience.
Meet Ted, Consigliere and office dog
Trusted confident and general pain in the bum, Ted is responsible for keeping the team calm and focused. He has no discernible account handling skills, can’t design, can’t code and can’t write copy. This sounds a lot like Mark really.
But Ted can chase cats. Really, really well. Although, he hasn’t caught one yet. And he probably wouldn’t know what to do with one if he did. Oh, and he does the invoicing.
You’ll be in good company
Our collective experience means we’ve worked with some fantastic brand names over the last few years. Providing digital communication guidance to a wide range of clients from large blue-chip firms through to national and local public sector organisations.
Our values really make us who we are. They’ve helped shape our business, will underpin every decision we make and should be felt by everyone we come into contact with.
We’re inspirational in our creativity
Creativity isn’t limited to the words and pictures we produce, it is inherent in everything we do. How we communicate, the strategies we deliver and the media that we use. And we love clients who are equally creative in their thinking.
We’re confident in our advice
Our advice is a combination of knowledge, experience and pragmatism. Clients should be confident that what we recommend is what we would be doing if it was our money. And the words ‘strongly recommend’ means ‘do it!’
We never accept mediocrity
We’re driven to deliver the very best thinking, solutions and results for our clients. Which means that we continuously challenge ourselves, our partners and suppliers to do what we are already doing brilliantly … a little bit better.
We always look forward
Our role is to ensure that our clients are aware of all the possibilities that are open to them. New thinking, new technologies, new platforms to communicate through. We have one eye firmly fixed on the present, and the other on the future.
We make things happen
There is nothing like the buzz of a project or campaign that needs to be planned, designed and delivered in the flashest of flashes. Get the right people doing the right jobs at the right time, and we’ll get there on brief, on time and on budget.
We enjoy working together
The very best work is a combination of a great initial idea, a bunch of talented people who all want to deliver something special, and a brave and ambitious client. And if we can have some fun delivering it, all the better.
Awards and recognition
We’re really proud to have been involved in a number of award-winning projects over the years. Including gongs for best careers website, best use of social media, best use of mobile and best graduate initiative amongst others. It’s what we do.
